Amwed has over 30 years of experience in global credit markets, capital formation, and emerging market investing. At Pearl Diver Capital, he leads capital raising, strategic partnerships, and special situations initiatives with sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors, and family offices across the Middle East and globally, supporting the firm’s CLO, SRT, and opportunistic credit platforms.
Previously, he was a Managing Director and Head of EMEA Sovereign Wealth Fund Solutions at Bank of America in London. He also held senior structured credit sales and capital raising roles at Nomura and Calyon. Amwed began his career at Morgan Stanley in London and holds a MSc in Financial Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
